Three decades of a life lived in public
Katie Price: Nothing to Hide revisits a career built around the intersection of private life and public attention. The Mindhouse documentary combines Price’s account, interviews with people close to her and previously unseen material. Its four chapters follow the development of the Jordan persona and the changing forms of celebrity that surrounded it.
The opening episode, Becoming Jordan, returns to Price’s childhood and the beginning of her career as a glamour model. The next explores the difference she describes between herself and the public persona, alongside early relationships, the birth of her son Harvey and the attention of the tabloid press.
When relationships become a media business
The second chapter also follows her decision to join I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2004, where she met Peter André. The third examines their relationship, commercial opportunities, reality television series and heavily publicized wedding. A family-friendly image develops as Price moves away from Jordan, while strain grows within the marriage.
The final part follows the public breakdown of the marriage, her relationship with Alex Reid and further turmoil. Family members, including children Junior and Princess, become part of the account. The series links changes in her personal life with the expectations and business pressures of remaining a public figure.
