Scroll Patrol invites RuPaul’s Drag Race performers to look back through personal photographs and tell the stories attached to them. Drag careers, private relationships and memories of the television competition form parts of the same conversation. The camera roll supplies the structure, turning an individual image into a point of entry into a much larger personal history.
The programme catalogue’s first season follows Nicole Paige Brooks, including memories of All Stars 10 press week in New York. The current official platform presents a second season with Latrice Royale. The change of subject preserves the same intimate format while bringing a different set of relationships and career experiences into view.
