A tenth anniversary and a turning point

Seventeen: Our Chapter looks back on a decade in which SEVENTEEN performed as a 13-member group without a lineup change. The documentary arrives at a turning point, with temporary absences ahead. Its four episodes connect that uncertainty with the members’ reflections on what they have built together.

The anniversary provides a reason to consider the past, but the central question also looks forward. The group asks how far it can go as familiar patterns begin to change. This gives the series an ongoing emotional subject beyond a retrospective collection of achievements.

Looking back before spending time apart

The opening episode connects the tenth anniversary with the beginning of time apart. The second reflects on the losses and gains of the preceding decade. Together they establish a balance between celebration and reassessment, considering what a long period of working as one group has meant to the members.

The third chapter emphasizes honest thoughts shared with the people who matter most, while the fourth closes the first decade and imagines the next. The progression moves from a shared history towards personal relationships and future possibilities. Each chapter adds another angle to the same transition.

The group’s own account of continuity and change

Disney+ presents the series as the members telling their story across past, present and future. Their own perspective is therefore central to the documentary’s value. It offers an account of how the group understands its history at a moment when the conditions of working together are about to shift.
